Wake Up Deborah
A word from Melissa Turman
“Awake, awake, Deborah. Awake, awake, sing a song. Arise,
Barak, lead your captivity captive, son of Abinoam.”
Judges 5:12
Deborah is very unique and a little controversial because she was a woman who held the highest executive office in the land of Israel, at the time. Imagine a middle-aged, gray-haired, Jewish housewife and mother being raised up over 3,000 years ago to lead Israel in one of the most improbable military victories of history!
Deborah was an Intercessor, Judge, Prophetess, Military Strategist and a “Mother in Israel” The only way Deborah would have been able to operate in those offices would have been because she was prepared for it in the secret place with God.
In Judges 5, Deborah is singing a song. She is singing of the goodness of the Lord and His mighty acts. Deborah’s song tells about how dangerous it had become in the land. The people were forced to come into the walled cities for protection. It was so dangerous that they could not go outside the gate to draw water from the well because of the thieves who would attack
Deborah was used mightily by God to deliver the Israelites from these enemies. In reading the song of Deborah, it seems that she is very much alive and moving in the Spirit, yet in the middle of great victory she utters these words, “Awake, awake, Deborah: awake, awake, utter a song…”
Definition: “Awake- Stir up thyself and all that is within thee, to admire and praise the Lord. He needs and well deserves the utmost liveliness and vigour of your soul!”
If a woman, who is a mighty prophetess and judge over Israel, who has just led an army to victory, and is singing high praises to God has to tell herself to WAKE UP, WAKE UP, it makes me stop and consider carefully what she is doing.
It doesn’t appear that she NEEDS to tell herself to wake up, but Deborah understood something very important. She knew that the more you get in the Spirit, the more you seek the Lord and the more God is using you, the MORE you see the need to keep yourself AWAKE!
The more we seek after God, the more He will reveal Himself to us. When we see ourselves in comparison to Him, it will make us shout, “WAKE UP, WAKE UP!”
Are we endeavouring to stay awake in the Spirit? Are we keeping ourselves from getting “weary in well doing?” If warriors are going to continually be produced in the army of God then there must be officers who have been through the boot camps of life and have graduated them. Officers who are consistently living the cry of, “Wake up, and STAY AWAKE!”
It is only those who are AWAKE in the Spirit that are able to see into the lives of others and say, “You are not yet fully awake, BUT YOU CAN BE!”
WAKE UP, WAKE UP!
Have a blessed week!
Love you all heaps.

Who's Report will you beleive PT 4
A word from Ray Price
Who’s Report will YOU Believe? Pt 4
“Who has believed our report? And to whom has the arm of the Lord been revealed?”
Isaiah 53:1
As we continue to look at " Whose report will you believe" there must be no question in your mind that God wants to bless us with what He has promised. Can you quote 2 scriptures that directly relate to what promise it is that you are relying on? Know them off-by-heart and meditate on them daily. These will be the anchor to which you can hook your faith on. Knowing God's Will makes it possible to receive from Him. 1John 5:14-15
He already has the provision for you, but there is a way to get what you need from the spirit world through to our world. Matt 6:33 commands us to "seek first the Kingdom of God" this is referring to "God's way of doing things" ... and what God does, is He "calls those things that be not as though they were". We must imitate Him as we "walk by faith and NOT by sight". That means that we can't be effected by what we see, hear, say or experience around us if it is different to what we are believing.
In theory; it sounds easy but in practice, we need to enter into the battle to gain the promises of God because we WILL come up against opposition as either
(1.) spiritual forces of darkness in the unseen realm, or
(2.) our own flesh or physical senses.
Most of the time, the enemy will rob us of the promise and God of the glory through our "wavering" or "doubt and unbelief" that will cause us to speak and act; not according to what the promise says, but according to our physical senses feel. [ Meditate (mutter under your breath, think upon, imagine).... Prov 3:5-12 ]
The great news is that the ball is in our court and our answers to prayer depend on us. God is always willing to help according to our faith, not our need. So stay in faith brothers and sisters.
We will ALWAYS "reap in due season, if we don't faint" Gal 6:9, as long as we "ask in faith, not wavering". James 1:6-8 Because it is "through faith and patience that we inherit the promise". Heb 6:12
Make up your mind to anchor yourself to the Word and His promises, regardless of any sense-knowledge or feeling -evidences and YOU WILL see the hand of God move on your behalf.
Just like it is impossible to receive while we doubt,
it is impossible not to receive if we stay in faith and not wavering.
Who’s Report will YOU Believe? Pt 3
Who’s Report will YOU Believe? Pt 3
“Who has believed our report? And to whom has the arm of the Lord been revealed?”
Isaiah 53:1
Today I want to give you some keys on how you can reverse the curse on believing wrong reports. Or bad reports that have had negative results on your life.
What happens when we get a bad report from the Doctor about your health etc? We go around telling everyone what words he spoke and what the outcome will be! What pills we have to take, and what tests we have to have done etc, and we go over and over it. It is not long before we believe that report more than the word of God.
What should you do? Do not put you head in the sand and hope it will go away “NO”. Go to the word of God, and get verses on healing etc as many as you can, e.g. I am the Lord that heals you!
1. write them out
2. speak them out
3. pray them out
4. work them out in your faith
5. Keep doing this until a change takes place in your heart and mind and faith rises up in you as you hear what your mouth is saying
6. Praise them out
Reading in Habakkuk3:17 though the fig tree may not blossom, nor fruit be on the vines …… please read this verse, there is so much in it!
Vs18 yet I will rejoice in the Lord, I will joy in the God of my salvation
Vs19 The Lord God is my strength!!!
Start praising the Lord, that His hand is upon your life and He will cause you to walk on high places.
David had a bad report when he came back to Ziglag 1Sam30:6 and his men wanted to stone him! He encouraged himself in the Lord, he drew aside and got alone with God and heard Gods word on what he should do and how he should go about it. Turned a real bad thing into a great victory.
Let me tell you what I do to encourage myself in the power of the Lord and what He can do.
Rather than keep thinking on what he hasn’t done. I start to praise Him for what He has done. I go over the miracles of healings that have happened to me. The healing of bleeding from the bowel that I had for 18months and after many tests was told that nothing can be done, just live with it. (NO).
The healing of my back, where I have bone on bone and was told I would be in severe pain, or even unable to walk! God healed me and my back is pain free and strong. Shouting ground I say!!
Please read Philippians4:8 finally, brethren, whatever things, are true, whatever things are noble, whatever things are pure, whatever things are lovely, whatever things are of Good Report, if there is any virtue and if there is anything praise worthy - meditate on these things.
Who’s REPORT will you believe?
We will believe the report of the LORD
Have a blessed week!
Love you all heaps.
