We are all familiar with sowing seeds in the natural & the spiritual.
Paul is teaching in Phil. 4:10-17
About the Philippian generosity, & in verse 17: he makes a powerful statement.
"not that I seek the gift, but I seek the fruit that abounds to your account."
To have an account at the bank means that you are entitled to make a withdrawal. How good is that!
Nothing deposited, nothing to withdraw.
Verse 19: "And my God shall supply all your needs according to His riches in glory, by Christ Jesus".
Verse 19 works because the Philippian church sowed into Paul & his ministry.
So, the seed that you sow to our ministry will assist us to:
1. Travel & carry the gospel of good news.
2. Assist with airfares, fuel & running costs.
3. Will all assist with ministry expenses.
You may never be able to 'go' but as you help us to go, you play a very powerful part in helping us to take the gospel.
